Brrak that note, I was relieved to read about characters who actually sounded their age, and not like a thirty-five-year-old trapped in a seventeen-year-old’s body. Naomi’s quite happy to video-tape Jonah breaking his bones, and keeps badgering him to keep up with this lifestyle when he realises later on that breaking all his bones is in fact accomplishing nothing.
The book was so great, I guess I was expecting a little bit more. It was disqualified for violence. I’m a seventeen-year-old writing girl who doesn’t swear and is absolutely too terrified to get in any likely-bone-breaking situations What were you doing during your junior year in high school? If you loved Bruiserread this one next.
Break. Ossa rotte : Hannah Moskowitz :
It creates a powerful dichotomy. Jesse keeps getting sick. However, halfway through my enthusiasm waned. I loved Jonah and his relationships with Jesse. If this book isn’t proof that teenagers are fucking amazing, I don’t know what is.
When I don’t get it. Well, ladies and gentlemen, let me present to you: Feb 01, Tom Franklin rated it really liked it. I am a diehard Palahniuk fan, and Moskowitz is the Palahniuk of her generation.
Why not try to snort a line of gummi bears and get a face tattoo like a osa person? I don’t want to ozsa like some insensitive arse who knows nothing about self-harm, but I can see why people cut themselves. See Gone, Gone, Gone or Teeth.

When Jonah actually takes his baby brother out of the house — a baby brother who, due to some unknown condition, cries all the time — I think it should have been a more triumphant moment than just the baby no longer crying and saying its first word.
When I first picked this book up, I was hooked. Moskowitz, whose next book Invincible Summer is due out inis a ossz up-and-comer to add to your must-watch list. And I get Jonah’s reasoning I bought this book and Invicible Rottd at the same by Hannah but I wanted to read this one first.
She lives in Maryland with several cats, none of whom are violent. They were goddamn real, I wanted the best for them. Rottee to Read saving….
Well, Jonah has to have the highest pain tolerance I’ve seen. I know there’s supposed to be this whole mental anguish vs. In this novel, there was always something happening. Did you know that when hannan break your bones, they grow back stronger?
Aug 11, Alex Bennett added it. I don’t get it.
Despite this, I still found Break to be highly engaging and also very, very interesting. Jonah getting together with Charlotte at the end didn’t do anything for me either, and nor did Jesse getting with Naomi.
Jonah is ossz typical teenager. Another thing I liked was the relationship between Noah and his brother. I’d always been a fan of staying alive.
Worrying about the perfect prom dress or if you were even going to make it to prom? Hannah The entire book is about someone who breaks their own bones, so yes.
The ending felt a little rushed and there a few hwnnah that didn’t sit well with me, but overall this was an amazing read. My only problem with the novel is the ending.

So kudos to her for keeping it real! It just stops if I raise it too high, and if I try to push it further, it really hurts. But Jonah breaks bones—his own.
It’s touching, it is. When there’s a problem, its not just your problem but everyone’s problem in the family. It’s a story that I’ll never forget!
